The weather was very kind indeed.
One of the team had the latest Deus V4 headphones with the V4 software update. The rest of the team was using the Déus II and a trusty Déus I dating back to April 2011.
Testing V4 resulted in some ferrous items being retrieved, but even these proved interesting. Lots of Medieval pottery were also recovered.
Some nice metallic items were found, including a Northumbrian styca, a Roman coin and four hammered coins. Three of these were of Henry I.
Typical Medieval buckles/plates and other items surfaced.
Two pieces of worked flint were also found.
