Paul King MIRTE MSOE IMI
With a professional engineering and managerial background, combined with over 28 years' experience of artefact recovery, a new and focused approach to fieldwalking and metal-detecting has been achieved. This has resulted in the technique we've phrased as "Three-Dimensional Fieldwalking" enabling not only the surface area of land to be covered but also the cubic capacity of the underlying survey area too.
Paul is also a self-recorder for the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
Having led a mountain bike team for several years Paul has now handed over the reins to Team Adrenaline. This allows more time for research and of course... fieldwalking and detecting surveys.
Hobbies include angling and squash with current interests in photography, cinematography and natural history. A passion for world travel, an eclectic taste in music and a love of world cuisine with fine wine completes the day.
